Day 1: Nairobi - Meru National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi Hotel and drive to the Meru National park. Arrive at the Leopard Rock Lodge in good time for lunch. Leopard rock lodge is one of its kind, unfenced and open to wildlife with Giraffes, rhinos, lions, elephants and buffaloes paying a visit oftenly.
Enjoy being in an exploited habitat offering the best possible experience as it has been for centuries.
You will have an afternoon game drive at 3.30 p.m to 6.00 p.m. Dinner and overnight at the Leopard Rock Lodge. {FB}
Day 2: Full day at Meru
Take an early morning guided walk in the bush or take an extended game drive with picnic breakfast to explore the many rivers transecting the park. The untamed wilderness of Meru National Park is renowned for its Elephant herds, rare northern endemic species with fantastic flora and changing terrain. Return to lodge for lunch and late afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and Overnight at Leopard Rock Lodge. {FB}

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart Meru and drive to Sambru Game Reserve set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with spectacular scenic landscape. The Ewaso Nyiro River dotted with doum palms meanders through the reserve giving it an oasis setting and the Lodges are set on the banks of the river, the flora and fauna with sparkling spring water flowing and cascading throughout the lodges grounds. The Samburus are cousins of the Maasai tribe and are pastoralists. Arrive in time for lunch at the Samburu game Lodge. In the afternoon depart on an exciting game-viewing drive in search of game found only north of the equator that include the long necked gerenuk, Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx and the Somali ostrich. Return to Samburu game Lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: {FB}
Day 4: Full Day in Samburu Game Reserve
Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at the Samburu Game Lodge. Meal Plan: {FB}

Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve -Sweet Waters
An early morning pre breakfast game drive then depart after breakfast to Sweet waters Game Reserve , arriving Sweetwater’s Tented Camp well in time for lunch. This Tented Camp is situated on the equator line. Afternoon game drives in the private sanctuary including a visit to “Baraka” the tamed blind rhino, the information center and the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwater’s Serena Luxury Tented camp. Meal Plan: {FB}

Day 6: Sweet Waters-Lake Nakuru
Depart Sweetwaters after breakfast and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley - making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls which was named after Joseph Thompson, one of the first European explorers who walked from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the 1880's. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive will be at 4.00 to 6.00 p.m. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 7: Lake Nakuru to Hells Gate National Park

Have an early morning game drive at 6.30 a.m to 8.30 a.m. followed by breakfast. After breakfast, check out and depart Lake Nakuru. Drive to the nearby Hells gate National park. Have a mid morning of game walking/cycling or rock climbing. Lunch will be at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. You may choose to have cycling/walking activities at Hells gate or a boat trip to the crescent Island. Return to the Lake Naivasha Sopa for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: Lake Naivasha to Maasai mara

Depart Naivasha after breakfast and drive to Maasai mara. : 4 Hours arriving at 11.30am. Have your mid morning game viewing session en route to the Mara Sarova Camp/Mara Serena for lunch. After lunch, relax at the lodge enjoying the lodge facilities until 4.00 pm when you will depart for an afternoon game viewing. At 6.00 pm, return to the Sarova Mara camp/ Mara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 9: Maasai Mara;
Have an early morning cup of coffee then depart for a game viewing session at 6.30 am to 8.30 am. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, depart for another game viewing session that will last until 12.30 pm. Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, relax until 4.00 pm time for your evening game viewing session which will last until 6.00 pm. Dinner and overnight at the Sarova Mara camp/ Mara Serena Lodge

Day 10: Maasai mara to Nairobi

Having an early morning breakfast and a game viewing drive as you leave Maasai mara. Arrive at Nairobi in good time for lunch. Lunch at the carnivore restaurant. After lunch, you will be dropped off at your hotel/airport.

Price per person sharing a double /twin room: US $ 3,450.00

Price based on private safari for two people. Maximum 4 in each vehicle.

Tour Price Includes:

§          Full board accommodation whilst on safari.

§          Meal plan as described, B=Breakfast, L=Lunch and D=Dinner.

§          Accommodation in double/twin/triple room sharing.

§          All park entrance fees to include government taxes and service of an English, speaking professional driver/guide.

§         Exclusive transport in a 4 x 4 all weather safari vehicle with a game viewing roof hatch and UHF radio.
